Between Wizkid And Saeon: The Real Story

You all already know the latest gist in town, The public thought Saeon was talking about Wizkid after she posted "Folks be like I never charge artistes for features, but I’m 1.5m short and I couldn’t even get a retweet, anyway it’s turn by turn.” on instagram as regard Wizkid featuring on her hit single “Boogie Down” after which Saeon reached out to Wizkid for social media publicity and he never responded.
However, talking to Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi on the Beat99.9FM, Saeon stated that her comment wasn’t necessarily about Wizkid as she has had a lot of collaborations in the past year. She stated that whoever she was talking about knows.

Wizkid replied shortly after in an interview  “It was strictly work. When did we even start talking that we should be friends like that? She came to me... No! Not me directly... to my manager and asked for a collabo. Normally, I don’t charge my friends but hey she came with some cash and I gladly obliged. I even gave her 10 per cent discount. That's a very generous move because it took her a month to get my attention. After that, it's back to our separate lives. We are not friends.”
