Celebrity: Lil' Kim Gives Birth to Baby Girl, Names Her Royal Reign

39-year-old rapper, Lil Kim gave birth to a baby girl, which she named Royal Reign, Monday morning at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey. Sources say little Royal weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces, and measured 19.5 inches long.


This is Lil' Kim's first child with her boyfriend of two years, New York-based rapper Mr. Papers.

Kim took everyone by surprise when she showed up at New York Fashion Week in February rocking a baby bump.

While Mr. Papers has one kid from a previous relationship, this is Lil' Kim's first. She shared on a 2003 episode of VH1's Driven that she had been pregnant with Notorious B.I.G.'s child but suffered a miscarriage.

Fortunately, Kim's new baby girl is healthy. And with a name like Royal Reign, we wouldn't be surprised if she follows in her mom and dad's musical footsteps.
