RIP Prof (Mrs) Dora Akunyili

Former Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and ex minister of Information, Professor Dora Akunyili, is dead.  Dr. Akunyili died in an Indian Hospital where she has been receiving treatment. Prof Dora has been battling with cancer for 2years now but she finally gave up the ghost around 10am yesterday, She was aged 59.

It might interest you to know that she received over 600 awards locally and internationally for her honesty, transparency & selfless service.
