Angry R Kelly Fans Wants Money Refund After Paying $150 For Concert And “R Jelly” Comes To Perform “Thump & Grind”

R. Kelly fans were swindled over the weekend when they showed up to see the R&B artist in concert and got an an impersonator instead. Fans had purchased tickets online for up to $150 for what was supposed to be an "All Black Affair" birthday extravaganza Saturday night at the Monroe Civic Center.

According to concertgoers, advertising online through Ticketmaster said the event was for a live performance by R&B crooner R. Kelly. However, when fans arrived at the center, he was nowhere to be found. “We was scammed because 10 o'clock we was there, no R. Kelly. 11 o'clock no R. Kelly, 12 o'clock no R. Kelly, 12:45 no R. Kelly. 1 o'clock here comes an impersonator [sic]," one angry concert goer told CBS affiliate KNOE.
