 Y.A.B Reader's Shocking Experience Abroad

 I am still in shock about what I saw today. I was standing in line about to pay for some groceries when I saw a little girl with her parents and her uncle. The little girl was acting up because she wanted some candy and in the bid to correct her, I saw her uncle reach down for this 2 year-old child's neck. All I saw him do was clutch her neck, telling her to put the candy she had down. I didn't know whether to scream or cry. The saddest part was her parents just stood there and watched, which indicated this was a norm in their household. He let go of the girl in a split second after she dropped the candy. It all happened so fast that I couldn't even do anything.

Is this what parenting is now??? 

What is wrong with adults of today?

 About a week ago I was out with my god-daughter and a little girl who wanted to play with my god-daughter was singing an explicit 2 Chainz song with her mother cheering her along. My friend and I started singing a nursery rhyme to get the other little girl to stop singing the explicit song but sadly, this little girl didn't seem to know any nursery rhymes. If you are gonna bring a child to this world, take responsibility and train your child well; be a great parent.They replicate your character and habits as parents. Why should your 2-year old know how to twerk and sing explicit songs but not know how to say all the letters of the alphabet ? ‪#‎so‬ sad
