Houston rapper Travis Scott is on the rise. The 19-year-old gained a burst of exposure when he was featured on the track “Sin City” from G.O.O.D. Music’s Cruel Summer album and after circulating rumors, Scott has finally confirmed that he is signed to Kanye’s label. He joins artists such as Big Sean who was also picked up by G.O.O.D. Music as a young up-and-comer in 2007.
The news leaked during an interview with “It’s The Real” duo Jeff and Eric Rosenthal via HipHopDx. The pair asked Scott to respond to a series of questions by saying either “good,” “great,” or “the best.” When the fill-in-the-blank question, “I’m Travis Scott and I’m signed to ‘blank’ Music, whether "I admit it or not” came up, the rapper/producer confirmed his G.O.O.D. Music deal with a happy laugh.
Not surprisingly, the question “I want to create ‘blank’ music” prompted Scott to say, “the best,” adding that “G.O.O.D. Music is already there.”
